Kristen advises clients in the areas of corporate law, commercial and residential real estate, commercial leasing, estate planning and estate administration. She joined the firm in 2023 after spending more than 14 years as in-house counsel for a large ski resort company operating in Canada and the United States, and several more years in private practice.

After attending Queen’s University for undergraduate studies, Kristen earned law degrees from both the University of Kent in Canterbury, England in 1998, and the University of New Brunswick in 2000. She was admitted to the Bar in British Columbia in 2001 before returning to practice law in her native Ontario in 2002.

Kristen is a past member of the board of directors of My Friend’s House and Independent Living Services Simcoe County.

While she was once an avid skier, Kristen can be found most often these days cheering on her two children in hockey arenas throughout Ontario. She hopes to one day return to the ski hills.
